Serving Western Massachusetts and New England

I grew up in the small town of Clarksburg, in the Berkshires of Western Mass. From an early age, I was enamored with the sounds of music. Encouraged by the gift of a transistor radio from my grandparents, and later, boomboxes with cassette-dubbing capability from my parents, this interest evolved into a lifelong passion for discovering and sharing music.

In 1995, while in high school, I purchased a RadioShack mixer, a hefty Crown power amp, and pair of Peavey speakers. I set out to DJ local events in the Berkshires and Cape Cod, and this is where I first experienced the thrill of sharing high quality music with larger audiences. Naturally, I pursued an education in the music industry.

I graduated from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford in 2001 where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production and Technology. Upon graduating, I joined the Music Production & Engineering Dept. at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where I held an administrative position, and completed further studies, until 2004.

In 2004 I began touring with a variety of artists, including Grammy-winning talent, where I refined my skills at mixing sound for live concerts. The experience of working at hundreds of concert venues and outdoor festivals provided the opportunity to become proficient on a wide array of complex sound reinforcement systems and master the challenges that come with working in a different venue every night. I also handed critical tour and production managing duties, coordinating everything from equipment logistics, to travel arrangements, tour budgeting, and accounting.

In 2012, I shifted my focus to planning and executing events for a diverse set of clients, from the educational, non-profit, and corporate sectors, on behalf of established event production companies in the New England region. In this capacity, I deployed and operated audio, video, and lighting systems for the production of meetings, presentations, video teleconferencing, ceremonial events, and concerts.

I continue to support a range of live events, while restoring an old farmhouse in the small town of Ashfield with my wife Jenny and our four children.
